I love working with my hands making artifacts to the best of my abilities, I have completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Furniture Making & Architectural woodworking from ATU Letterfrack, Co. Galway.
Born in Belgium in the year 2000 I lived there until 2005 when my family moved to rural Ireland, I have the ability of speaking both French and English fluently. I was home-schooled and traveled all over Asia every winter with my family for a few months each year. Then when I was 13, I decided to go to secondary school instead of continuing with home schooling.
An open-minded very outgoing person with a passion for making and pushing my limits. I am a great listener who loves conversation, always looking to learn and share new experiences.
I spent a year working with carpenters doing everything from roofing and building full decks to hanging doors. I then came across this Bachelor of Science Degree in Furniture Making & Architectural woodworking from ATU Letterfrack and knew this was the perfect course for me.
Employment History
In 2019 I worked with Carpenters who were roofing and also made a few decks while I was under their employment. When Covid-19 hit I worked in a joinery workshop (Beara Joinery) with a long time family friend making everything from kitchens to stairs and furniture. Then I went to ATU Letterfrack in September 2020 to complete a Bachelor of Science in Furniture Making and Architectural woodworking.
Further Education and Training
In my third year I went to do my placement in New Zealand, which enabled me to put into practice all that I had learnt in ATU Letterfrack.
I worked for Goldmark Group in Wellington NZ my responsibilities were to work in the shop fitting team and bespoke house joinery.
